March 12, 2010 - A Houston police officer was shot and wounded by his wife, who's a deputy with the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office, during apparent domestic disturbance, officers say.
The shooting occurred about 4 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 21600 block of Cozy Hollow Lane, said Terriann Carlson, spokeswoman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
The police officer, whose name has not been released, was wounded in the leg. No other injuries were reported.
The wife’s name also was not available. She has been reassigned pending the outcome of the case, officials said.
No arrests have been made, and the case is expected to be presented to a grand jury without charges.

Do you think if you shot your spouse you would get this special treatment from the police?
